2017 PLAN Project Selection

Calling all London trainees!

PLAN AGM 2017

Do you have a great idea for an audit? Perhaps you've recent completed an audit or quality improvement project in your current hospital and would like to expand the project across multiple hospitals? Or maybe you have some research questions in mind? The Pan-London Perioperative Audit and Research Network (PLAN) invites trainees across London to submit your project ideas for the 2017 Project Selection Event to be held at the London Deanery in September 2017.

Chancellor's Hall, Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU on 25th September 2017

Book your ticket here:

Our 2017 Annual General Meeting includes an open question and answer session with Prof. Steven Yentis of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Ex-Editor of Anaesthesia. Come along a pose your question (on anything that you want) to Prof. Yentis! We are also very proud to present Dr. Andre Vercueil of King's College Hospital, who will be delivering our keynote lecture. There are prizes to be awarded for presentations and we'll be running practical sessions on translating research ideas into running projects - everything from ethics and Health Research Authority applications, through to case studies of successful projects. Learn about the practicalities of research governance and management, alongside tips to help your overcome common challenges.

PLAN is an organisation dedicated to delivering high quality, trainee-led projects across Greater London. We have evolved to generate the expertise and contacts to help you develop your idea into a large multi-centre project, and if chosen, your project could be run in up to 45 of our PLAN-affiliated hospitals in London.

Previous projects have been presented both nationally and internationally, winning prizes and gaining publication in peer review journals. Past projects have even been selected to run on a national scale! If you have an idea which you would like to develop further, then find out more about our projects and the selection process here:
